WelcomeStepping Stones Children’s Physiotherapy aims to provide an outstanding paediatric physiotherapy service.Our physios work with children from babies through to adolescents to improve and realise their physical potential. We will assess your child and devise a special program based on your child’s ability to participate and the purpose for the treatment. As parents and carers, you will gain a better understanding of your child’s condition and needs, whilst learning new skills to develop your child’s ability to play and perform everyday tasks. Children can present with a wide range of conditions- some may be short-term, some may be life-long. We commonly treat children with developmental delay, cerebral palsy, torticollis, toe walking, orthopedic conditions, etc. We are more than happy to speak with you at any time about your child’s difficulties. |

Our well-equipped rooms in Mount Waverley enable the provision of tailored programs throughout your child’s care. Equipment available includes full weight support walking harness, ceiling hoist, treadmill, rails, wide adjustable plinths and gym equipment.
Of course, we have full pram wheelchair access, off street parking, and disabled toilet facilities. |
Equipment Focus

We are able to provide some specialised equipment for purchase. We can also assist you sourcing other items such as orthotics, wheelchairs and hoists.
In addition, we are able to assist in applications for funding of equipment, to relevant agencies such as Aids and Equipment Program, TAC etc |
Professional Help
Many children are referred by their doctor or another health practitioner, but you do not need a referral to attend our practice.In addition to our rooms consultations we provide a visiting service to the eastern side of Melbourne from the CBD. Please enquire if you are outside this area.
We work closely with other health professionals involved in your child’s care (Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, etc); or we can help you find someone if you are looking for the right person.
